Lizzy Stewart illustrations

Hola a todos,

En el número de marzo de la revista online NEET Magazine viene un extracto de un interesante libro de Lizzy Stewart "Solo diaries vol 1" una especie de diario gráfico en el que reúne los dibujos de su primer mes, dibujados en blanco y negro y encuadernados en color. Me han encantado estas ilustraciones. Os dejo una muestra y su web por si os interesa.

In NEET magazine issue of March, you can see few pages of Lizzy Stewart new book  "Solo diaries Vol 1" a kind of graphin diary that contains her first month of drawings printed in B&Wand staple bound with a colour cover. I really love these illustrations. I post some pages and her web.

Nice story, a man collected 50 abandoned chairs on the streets of New York, repaired them and gave them a new life with a coat of taxi cab yellow paint. The bottom of each chair is stamped and documented with the date and location it was recovered. Lovely. Street Seats.

Tolix chair

Hola a todos,
Tengo que reconocer que me encantan las sillas, no sé por qué. Así como de toda la ropa me pierden los zapatos, para la casa me pierden las sillas, y además me gustan viejas, cuanto más viejas mejor, cosa que es totalmente incomprensible para mi marido y para mi madre. Un día, cuando me vieron aparecer con la vieja silla que compré para el hall no daban crédito "...¿y cuántos euros dices que has pagado por esto?" Pero soy así, qué le vamos a hacer. Y de todas las sillas, una de las que más me gusta es la Tólix, una silla metálica que me encanta. La creó Xavier Pauchard en 1934 y desde entonces su fama no ha parado de crecer, y lo malo es que su precio también. En fin, habrá que conformarse con verla en las fotos.

I have to admit I love chairs, don't know why. As for me I love shoes, for the house I love chairs, and I like them old, wich is totally incomprehensible to my husband and my mother. When they saw me with the old chair I bought for the hall they couldn't believe it "... and how many euros have you paid for that?" And from all the chairs I would choose Tolix chair, a chair made of sheet metal wich was created by Xavier Pauchard in 1934 and since then its fame hasn't stop growing, and the price too. It's a pity, perhaps some day I will buy one.
